Joanne is a graduate of Music Performance, specialising in voice, from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Music Education from Trinity College Dublin and the College of Music, Dublin (Conservatory of Music and Drama). She is a recipient of numerous prizes and scholarships for singing and was the first in the history of her degree to achieve a first class honours in performance in the final year of her degree. She has amassed a wealth of experience, performing in venues throughout Ireland, Europe and in America.

Joanne has premiered music for various composers including Seamus Ludden, Eibhlis Farrell and Dr. Bryan Hesford.
She features in recordings for albums, tv, film and radio as a soloist, and with professional choirs.

She is voice and performance consultant for many choral groups and for other professional musicians in the recording studio, and regularly provides master classes for choirs, combining her knowledge of vocal and performance technique and experience with a holistic approach to singing and life which she has been studying and incorporating for 20 years.
